First used on the US Rifle Model 1903 (Springfield), the M1907 was the standard sling for the Model 1917 and the M1 Garand. This sling duplicates the original military design down to the Parkerized steel hardware and MilSpec linen thread, with hand-stitched keepers. Pictured above is the WWII version. The length of the long strap is 48″ and the width is 1 1/4″. Please note: If you are planning on shooting in a CMP/NRA-sanctioned match in the prone position this is not the correct sling. It is too short. You will need the National Match.
